My Story
My journey with Scentsy started in 2013. I decided to join Scentsy after only using the products for a few short months and falling in love. At the time I was a stay at home mother of two, who missed having adult conversations. Traditionally, I am an introvert, so I never thought I would EVER join a direct sales business. But something really connected me with the company, the product, and the people. I decided I would give it a go.
I told myself I would join, because I could help pay for preschool for my oldest, but deep down I knew it was because I needed a community of people. My goal every month was to just make enough to pay for my gas... which I did by the way. I f I could do that, then I had a reason for staying. I always thought being successful in direct sales meant "making the big bucks", but soon realized it was so much more than that.
Over the next several years, I had two more Children, and life as a mom was very fulfilling, and so was my Scentsy side gig. Scentsy was giving me that community that I so much craved and needed. It was pushing me to grow as a person, leader, mom, and a friend. I was satisfied with my decision to join Scentsy.
It wasn't until March of 2020 when the world went all kinds of crazy, that I knew I needed to step up my game and make Scentsy a full time gig. My husband had just lost his job and we were now dependent on my income. I promoted to director, doubled my team, and saw how worthy I was of my success. It really has been a blessing to be apart of this company. To be able to look back and see how far I have come. To have met so many goals in my life. To have been able to pay off debt, travel the world, build a community of people who love and support me, and most of all help provide for my family financially.
